About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Emory University.

Prior to Emory, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Brigham & Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in the lab of Faisal Mahmood, PhD. I am board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology after residency and Molecular Genetic Pathology Fellowship at Brigham & Women's Hospital, followed by fellowship in Clinical Informatics at Massachusetts General Hospital. I hold an MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and a BA in Mathematics from Oberlin College.
My prior research projects have spanned from Raman spectroscopic analysis of butadienes, to morphometrics of bones from the Hamann-Todd Osteological Collection to improve orthopedic surgery outcomes, to evolutionary approaches to cancer cell modeling. Generally, my focus has been on using quantitative and computational techniques to improve medicine.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions or ways we can work together.
